Alisar Mustafa is a Responsible Innovation Consultant who is passionate about the development of ethical AI. At Carnegie Mellon University, she joined the Public Interest Technology Lab to work on combating bias in government data and algorithms at The U.S. Census Bureau. She also worked at Meta’s Responsible Innovation team, where she identified and mitigated potential harms to society caused by emerging technologies. Alisar is also the co-founder and CEO of CivicSync which offers an AI powered polling solution that ensures a 100% response rate and comprehensive demographic representation, redefining accuracy and inclusivity in polling. Alisar received her MS in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University.
