Speaker Bio
Toby Shulruff works at the nexus of technology, people, and planet to build our collective capacity to understand, make choices about, and ultimately shape the technologies and systems that are woven into the fabric of our lives. Toby began working in the field of gender-based violence in 1997. She is a PhD student at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society at Arizona State University, where she completed a Master of Science in Public Interest Technology. Her research includes the role of Trust and Safety work within technology companies, the privacy and safety of everyday and emerging technologies.
