Increasingly, platforms operate in countries where large swaths of the population do not have affordable internet access or where connections are disrupted by conflict and political upheaval. When the Internet is unaffordable or gets shut down, vulnerable groups are cut off from critical information services. This panel discussion will explore global connectivity challenges, how organizations can adapt to abrupt loss of connectivity in times of crisis, and what platforms can do to support safety and well-being in these situations.
