Peter Cihon is a Senior Policy Manager at GitHub. He works on emerging technology policy with a focus on supporting developer communities globally. He has published research on the regulation, international governance, and labor implications of AI. He advises OECD.AI and the U.N. Secretary-General’s High-Level Advisory Body on AI. He was previously a researcher at the Centre for the Governance of AI and the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute. He began his career researching net neutrality and internet access development in South Asia.
