Shyna Khurana is the Data Science Tech Lead for the Safety Platform at Roblox, overseeing a team that innovates platform safety and civility through data-driven approaches

Balancing business growth with security, her team's primary goal is to ensure user safety and foster trust among players, creators, and brands. Shyna's team focuses on building a world-class, data-driven platform that leverages advanced moderation tools, machine learning, and 24/7 moderation teams to maintain a safe environment for Roblox's vibrant community, now exceeding 77 million daily active users and 25 million active creators.

Beyond her technical role, Shyna leads Roblox's Women in Data group and champions diversity and inclusion initiatives. She is also a member of the Trust & Safety Professional Association (TSPA) and the Integrity Institute.

Shyna holds a Master’s in Engineering Management from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
