Jen is an experienced and cross functional leader in ensuring safer experiences online. She began her career in cybersecurity anticipating threats and contextualizing their impacts across government, industry, and civil society. Jen transitioned to focus more directly on user safety while at Facebook from 2015-2022, where she built teams and led efforts focused on identifying and disrupting emerging harms (to include human exploitation, child safety, & influence operations). Her curiosity led her into the realm of gaming and AR, shifting focus to preventative work and safety by design. Today, Jen leverages her unique expertise and interdisciplinary experience in building Niantic’s T&S program, and is an active mentor and contributor in the T&S community.

Jen is a graduate of the Fletcher School and Smith College. She was a Fulbright Fellow, a founding fellow of the Integrity Institute, and leads the TSPA's working group on Safety by Design.
