Dr. Ilya Kabanov is a global leader in cybersecurity, safety, and anti-abuse. He is currently the head of Google Cloud AI Protection, ensuring the safety and security of AI products and their customers. Prior to Google, he founded and led the global software security and privacy engineering practice at Schneider Electric, the world's leading Industrial IoT company.

Dr. Kabanov is also an AI/ML security and safety researcher at the MIT Sloan Cybersecurity Lab, where he focuses on risks and protections for enterprise AI systems.

He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Ph.D. from the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
