Sev Guardado is a seasoned leader in Trust & Safety, with a background in operations, investigations, compliance, and analytics.

As a former Director of Trust & Safety at Pinterest, Sev spearheaded the global operations team, ensuring the enforcement of content policies and mitigating risks on a platform catering to over 500 million monthly active users. His leadership extended across content moderation, intellectual property, law enforcement response, and privacy. Sev led teams there through pivotal milestones in regulatory compliance, transparency reporting, safety protocols, and business analytics, scaling and elevating Pinterest's safety standards and user experience.

Prior to his role at Pinterest, Sev held several positions at Facebook, where he did work in business reporting and analytics, investigations into high-severity user safety issues, project management, and operations.

Beyond his company roles, Sev has also worked extensively with organizations like NCMEC, the Tech Coalition, and the Digital Trust & Safety Partnership.
