“Pig Butchering” has been a growing area of concern on social media platforms over the past couple of years. The problem has two criminal elements that includes a combination of Human Trafficking and Financial Grooming. Exploring this issue is also a good time to discuss trauma informed language (socializing a change in language from "pig butchering" to "financial grooming.") These three elements form the foundation of this panel.
