The European Digital Services Act (DSA), the UK’s Online Safety Act (UK OSA), and Australia’s Online Safety Act (AU OSA) have made significant waves in the digital space over the last months. Almost four months following the DSA D-Day, anticipating the compliance deadlines for the UK OSA in the horizon, and reflecting on the range of regulatory activities in Australia, this session takes stock of how companies have been getting their books in order to comply with the new regulations. Our panellists look back at lessons learnt from the biggest platforms and consider the path forward that balances regulatory expectations with industry best practices. The panel, comprising of regulator and industry experts, will focus on providing key takeaways from existing compliance efforts and chart a roadmap for Trust & Safety teams that are getting started, so that they can be set up for success.
