Designing With Teen Safety in Mind: Research-Informed Content Principles
Description
This talk is part of a two-presentation session running from 11:10 AM -12:00 PM. The session will feature two presentations back-to-back, with Q&A after each presentation.
How we communicate is at the core of every user interaction. It is particularly important in the area of teen safety, where and how we communicate can influence how teens interpret information. In this presentation, we’ll share content standards we developed for communicating to teens and for empowering them to stay safe. Our standards are based on a global literature review, and provide tangible guidance on adapting the language to different users and scenarios.
