Justin Erlich is the Global Head of Issue Policy for Trust & Safety at TikTok. He oversees a team that develops policies, product principles and global content moderation rules that govern the platform. He also teaches at UC Berkeley Law School about Technology Disruption & Regulation. He has served on the leadership team of former California Attorney General (now Vice President) Kamala Harris, overseeing technology policy for the CA Dept of Justice. He previously was Uber’s Global Head of Policy for Self-driving Vehicles, and worked at McKinsey as a strategy manager in the Public Sector practice, focusing on the future of cities. He has a law degree from NYU and a bachelors degree in Political Science from Harvard.
