John Redgrave is the Vice President of Trust & Safety at Discord. Working proactively with cutting-edge technology to detect and respond to abuse, John leads collaborative and cross-functional efforts to create safety and a sense of belonging for all Discord users. He has long served as a leader in the world of safety technology, first as the head of Strategy and Operations at Palantir, where he built the company's healthcare vertical amongst other contributions; then as the COO of Lattice Data: an AI company acquired by Apple that converted “dark” data into usable information for applications such as the fight against human trafficking; and finally as the CEO and Co-Founder of Sentropy Technologies: an internet security company building machine learning products to detect and fight online abuse. John came to Discord through the acquisition of Sentropy Technologies, and he continues to operate as an advisor and consultant in the safety technology space.
