Dr. Dédé Tetsubayashi is an Ethical Technologist and Social Scientist. She utilizes her lived experiences as a Black, queer invisibly disabled woman to support organizations’ development and investment in equitable, transformative change in their practices, people and products. For 23 years, she’s worked in the US, APAC, European, and African markets– from startups to Fortune 100 companies– creating equitable and accessible development processes that take cutting edge technology global, while designing with—and empowering—a diverse world. Dr. Dédé is an expert in designing, launching, and scaling responsible, ethical, equitable and accessible products that have global impact, cultural and technological relevance within emerging markets.
Parallelly leading ethical emergent tech, and responsible AI development across product, design and engineering teams at large technology companies such as Meta, Salesforce, Indeed, and WeWork to, Dr. Dédé founded incluu, a startup to partner with businesses to build ethical and equitable products with underserved communities. Incluu’s mission is to equip organizations with data-driven equity metrics for early detection of disparate, inequitable outcomes and provide preventative measures to potential harm.
Dr. Dédé is a member of the Equity Army started by Annie Jean-Baptiste, a group focused on educating organizations on Product Equity and Inclusion. She's also a founding member of Tech Ladies, a group focused on inclusivity in tech.
