Vaishnavi is a longtime Trust & Safety professional experienced in developing, scaling, and enforcing trust & safety policies at leading technology companies. Her work has focussed on building and leading high-performing trust & safety policy teams, building and scaling policy functions, and advising executive leadership on trust & safety strategies. She was most recently the Head of Youth Policy at Meta, where her team worked with internal policy and product teams as well as external experts to ensure Meta built age-appropriate experiences for teens. She was previously Instagram’s Head of Safety & Wellbeing where she focussed on keeping the Instagram community safe online. Vaishnavi previously led Twitter’s global video safety policy efforts, was Twitter’s first head of safety policy in the Asia-Pacific region, and began her career in tech policy working on online child safety and privacy policy issues at Google. Her work is global and multidisciplinary by default, having worked on these issues from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
