Paul has been in the Trust and Safety space since 2008 when he observed that the tools being used in SIE for content moderation were many and inconsistent. He designed and led the implementation of what has become the company’s standard moderation tool, currently supporting 30+ game titles, and all social content on all PlayStation platforms. He also designed the company's proactive moderation platform and now oversees its development and enhancement.

As Director of engineering, he is responsible for all PlayStation Trust and Safety engineering initiatives, and he is passionate about making PlayStation, and online gaming in general, a safe place to play.
