Dr. Jennie Ito is a developmental psychologist that specializes in content appropriateness and children’s media. She is currently on the Product Policy team at Roblox developing age-appropriate content policies to keep users safe. Before that, she led content policy development for kids experiences on YouTube and YT Kids, was a UXR on the Kids and Family team at Google, and a Google Play Families & Kids Policy Specialist. Prior to joining Google, she had her own play consultancy where she reviewed toys, evaluated media for content appropriateness, and helped toy and media companies create meaningful play experiences for young kids.
