Description

In this workshop, participants will learn the neurobiology of trauma and stress, investigating how it impacts the way we understand and respond to the world around us, including online services and technology. Through skills-based learning and exercises, participants will gain practical trauma-informed techniques that will improve their services and create healthier teams.

Participants will: Learn about complex stress and trauma responses, understanding how this impacts the way team members and users interact with the world around them. / Investigate how our systems may create additional stress after a traumatic event and influence outcomes. / Gain practical knowledge on trauma-informed techniques that will improve safety services and create healthier teams. 

Anyone who engages with people will have something to take away from this workshops. It will be most beneficial to folks in non-technical roles such as content moderation, user support, HR, and Trust & Safety leadership.
