Navigating policy and enforcement in a community environment is complicated; unlike direct influencer models, we have parties with varying levels of responsibility and power (hosts, moderators, guests). We also rely heavily on community moderation, so when a community member violates a policy, we need to have clear boundaries on culpability, and clear incentives for the community to moderate itself. This talk will discuss our approach to host culpability, giving hosts incentive to reprimand or remove violating guests, while still giving them leeway for behavior beyond their control.
Lightning talks are 5-7 minute talks grouped with other 5-7 minute talks across a 50 minute session. There will be time for Q&A after all of the lightning talks in a session.
