Building OpenAI's Moderation API
Description
Todor Markov is a research scientist at OpenAI and the lead researcher on OpenAI’s Moderation API (https://openai.com/blog/new-and-improved-content-moderation-tooling). This is basically a set of machine learning classifiers that identify content against OpenAI’s usage policies - and are strong enough that we use them for automated enforcement. The moderation endpoint is free to use when monitoring the inputs and outputs of OpenAI APIs (https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/moderation). For this session, Todor will discuss the process used for building content moderation classifiers and some of the challenges involved.
